East Wynnton Lane shooting leaves man with minor injuries
A man sustained superficial wounds to the right side of his face and neck following a Monday afternoon shooting in the 2900 block of East Wynnton Lane, according to Columbus police.
Officials said they were called to the scene shortly after the gunman fired shots into the victim’s truck around 5:45 p.m.
A 25-year-old man the victim knew prior to the incident has been named as a suspect, but it’s unclear at this time if any warrants have been issued. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which police described as aggravated assault and reckless conduct.
The investigation continues.
