Police investigate armed robbery at Econo Lodge
Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery Saturday morning at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites on Victory Drive.
According to a police report, the robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m.
A manager at the business said two armed men came in and demanded money.
One was wearing a gray sweatshirt with the word Echo on the front. The other wore a red shirt.
The manager called the thieves bold since there were several customers within 20 feet of the crime.
