Motorcycle reported stolen from First Avenue home

Columbus Police said they are searching for any possible suspects linked with the motorcycle theft that occurred early this week at a residence in the 3200 block of First Avenue.

Authorities said they were called to the location around 7:15 a.m. Monday to investigate the incident. On the scene, they spoke with the 28-year-old owner who reported that his red and silver 2002 Honda CBR 600 was stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday from parking lot on the south side of Building B near the exit gate.

The vehicle has gold handlebars and scratches on the right side of the fairing, police noted.

Officials said there are numerous security cameras in the vicinity of where the motorcycle was taken, but the main office at that complex was closed at the time. They plan to followup with the office later to review any available video evidence.
