Woman, 29, charged in armed robbery at Buena Vista Road business
A 29-year-old woman was arrested early Thursday after she was allegedly involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a Buena Vista Road business, according to a Columbus police report.
Kimberly Nikole Huffman was taken into custody at 4:50 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Amber Drive. She was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and false imprisonment and booked into the Muscogee County Jail without bond.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
Police have released few details concerning the incident but confirmed that it happened at 7:15 a.m. Thursday at an unspecified business in the 4200 block of Buena Vista Road.
In the report, there was no mention of anyone being harmed.
