Man shot in head during home invasion on Milgen Road

Columbus police are investigating a shooting that occurred during a home invasion early Wednesday morning on Milgen Road.

Police were called at 3:40 a.m. to a home invasion at Cooper Cove Apartments at 4770 Milgen Road that left the victim with gunshot wounds to his head and arm, Lt. Consuelo Askew said.

He was taken to Midtown Medical Center, where he’s listed in critical condition, Askew said.

Multiple people were at the apartment at the time of the shooting, but it’s unclear if anything was stolen. No suspects have been identified, the lieutenant added.
