Man shot on Cusseta Road
A man suffered a gunshot wound early Sunday morning in Columbus.
According to a police report, the incident took place on Cusseta Road
Police responded at approximately 4:54 a.m. to an area near Victory Trailer Park in response to the report of a shooting.
The victim was found lying on the ground.
He had suffered a gunshot wound to his right knee.
The victim told police he was walking through a parking lot when he heard three or four shots. He told police he began to run on the sidewalk when he felt himself get shot. He said he did not see anyone or any vehicle.
A 9mm lugar shell casing was found.
The victim was taken to Midtown Medical Center.
