Man robbed at gunpoint on Avondale Road
Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery at the intersection of Avondale Road and Howe Avenue.
The incident occurred early Monday morning, around midnight.
A Columbus man said he was walking toward the Circle K on South Lumpkin Road when two black males, each with a gun, approached him and demanded his wallet which he gave them.
He said the men were wearing gray sweatsuits and their faces were covered by hoodies.
The man was not injured.
