Man charged in robbery at Circle K
A suspect was jailed on Friday after the Circle K on Veterans Parkway was robbed at gunpoint, Columbus police said.
Marcos Henderson, 37, was arrested at Railroad Street and Third Avenue after the 12:27 a.m. robbery at 1445 Veterans Parkway. He was charged with armed robbery, possession of a gun or a knife during the commission a crime, a felon in possession of a firearm and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
He was ordered held without bond in the Muscogee County Jail after a Friday hearing in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Police said the suspect ran from officers before he was taken into custody.
