U.S. Marshals nab sexual abuse suspect wanted in Phenix City

A man wanted by the Phenix City Police Department on sodomy first degree and sexual abuse of child less than 13 years-old was taken into custody today by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Columbus office.

Marcus Williams is awaiting extradition to Phenix City after he was arrested in Columbus. He is held in the Muscogee County Jail.

Phenix City posted Williams’ arrest on its Facebook website.
