Troup County man, 60, charged in child porn investigation
A 60-year-old Troup County man was arrested in connection with a child porn investigation, authorities announced Wednesday night in a news release.
Officials said Kenneth Wendell Counts faces 25 counts of computer electronic pornography and child exploitation prevention but could later face additional charges in the case. He is being held without bond in the Troup County Jail.
Officials with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Count’s residence as a part of an investiagtion into child porn being possessed and distributed in Troup County.
