Phenix City police search for suspect in Walgreens theft caught on camera

Authorities are searching for an unidentified man seen stealing from the Walgreens at 3140 U.S. Highway 280 on Saturday afternoon, according to a post on the Phenix City Police Department’s Facebook page.

Officials released the surveillance video that shows the suspect, who is dressed in a white tank top, reportedly stealing merchandise at 1:26 p.m. When confronted by employees, he used or threatened to use force against at least one of the workers, according to police.

Anyone with information that would help identify the suspect in the white tank top is encourage to contact investigator Heeger at 334-448-2813 or the on-duty investigations lieutenant at 334- 448-2825 or 334-448-2837.
