Police looking for suspect in 17th Avenue homicide

Columbus Police are looking for Torrance Terrell Menefee, a 30-year-old black male, in connection with a homicide late Saturday.

Police were called to 406 17^th Ave. for a reported shooting. They found Kenneth Holloway Jr., dead from a gunshot wound. The investigation led to a warrant being issued for Menefee.

“We are asking anyone with any information about this crime or the whereabouts of Torrance Terrell Menefee to contact Corporal Darrell Middlebrooks at 706-225-4329 (email: dmiddlebrooks@columbusga.org) , the Fugitive Unit or the Robbery/Assault Unit at 706-653-3400,” according to a police statement.
