Sheriff: Man turns himself in after failing to register as sex offender
A 26-year-old convicted child molester wanted on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender surrendered to authorities Monday morning, Muscogee County Sheriff John Darr announced on his Facebook page.
Dwayne Cullins, who also has four prior convictions for failure to register as a sex offender, was arrested on a warrant for that same crime. He was booked into the Muscogee County Jail without bond.
His apprehension comes days after the sheriff took to Facebook Friday morning to announce the search for Cullins.
