A Phenix City man is in jail after a fatal shooting Saturday.
According to a police report, at 11:35 p.m., Phenix City police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1000 block of 16th Street.
Investigation into the incident revealed the shooting resulted from a robbery and assault.
One of the robbery suspects, Trevelle Bradley Williams, 23, of Columbus was transported to Midtown Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The body will be sent to the Alabama state crime lab for an autopsy.
The second robbery suspect, Keshaun Aaron Goodine of Phenix City was also to Midtown Medical Center and was treated for a gunshot to the abdomen.
Goodine has been released and is currently in Muscogee County Jail on a murder warrant and two robbery warrants.
Extradition to Alabama is pending.
The victims are two Phenix City brothers. One suffered a laceration to his right upper back area from a gunshot and the other a laceration to his forehead, along with additional injuries to his facial area, after being struck with a pistol.
Both brothers were treated at Midtown Medical Center and released.
A third victim, a man from Seale, Ala was treated and released at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, for a gunshot wound to his left knee.
This case is being investigated by The Criminal Investigation Division of the Phenix City police.
