LaGrange police search for two gunmen in Milam Street robbery

Authorities are searching for two gunmen who robbed a LaGrange man early Friday morning at his home in the 400 block of Milam Street, according to a press release.

The victim was able to escape injury, police confirmed.

Authorities said they were called to the scene around 1:38 a.m. Friday to meet with the victim. The resident said he was sitting on the patio chair in his backyard when two black men wearing white t-shirts on their face approached him.

He said both men, who appeared to be between 17 and 20 years old, withdrew a handgun and demanded his wallet. After he handed over the wallet, the men fled the scene on foot and headed toward West Crovat Street.
