Local student headed to Nationals

Matti Portillo, a student at Brookstone School, recently won the 2017 Tiny Miss State GA Forestry Queen from Muscogee County. Matti will now compete at the U.S. Nationals in September. She will be competing against Texas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The Miss Forestry Pageant is the oldest scholarship pageant in Georgia since 1940.
