Two Harris County schools dismiss early due to no water being available on campuses
Two Harris County schools have dismissed early after having water issues at both schools.
Harris County High School and Harris County Carver Middle School have both dismissed their students Tuesday morning after discovering no water was available on either campus, according to a Facebook post from the Harris County School District.
“The safety and welfare of our students remain our utmost priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time,” the post read.
The school district started releasing bus riders for HCCMS at 8:45 a.m. and HCHS bus riders at 9 a.m. with car riders pick up beginning at 9 a.m., according to the post.
Both schools are still experiencing water issues as of noon Tuesday, according to a spokesperson.
