South Girard Math Team competes in tournament

The South Girard Math Team recently competed in the 13th annual Columbus High Middle School Math Tournament. The tournament is designed to recognize accomplishments in mathematics by middle school students to give them experience in tournaments and to encourage interest in mathematics. Sixteen schools from throughout the Chattahoochee Valley participated. Mya Richardson, sitting, received 1st place overall out of the South Girard team.
