Retired Army Col. Ralph Puckett was honored Monday at the National Infantry Museum, where they dedicated the new exhibit Ranger's Ranger.

A short video that chronicled Puckett's career was also shown.

Puckett is an inaugural inductee of the U.S. Army Ranger Hall of Fame and decorated veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War.

In Korea, Puckett commanded the 8th Army Ranger Company, the first Ranger unit formed after World War II. He retired in 1971.

The National Infantry Museum, 1775 Legacy Way, is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. It will be closed on Thanksgiving.

The museum is free, but a $5 donation is encouraged.
