Student found with Taser at Spencer High School

A William Henry Spencer High School student was arrested Thursday after he was allegedly found with an undisclosed amount of marijuana and a Taser, according to a Columbus Police report.

Kyre McLaurin, 17, allegedly took the Taser into his classroom. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds.

McLaurin was transported to Muscogee County Jail.
