Sleek Georgia equestrian estate comes with pub from Ireland and is headed to auction
An elegant equestrian compound that’s resting on 48 acres right outside of Atlanta in Griffin, Georgia, is about ready to head to the auction block with a reserve of $1.75 million.
Its name is Prince DeBeers Farm, and it last sold in 2017 for $1.2 million, Mansion Global said, but has been on and off the market since the beginning of the year, with the price fluctuating.
The property has a main residence, an events barn, grooming and storage barn, and a hay barn, the outlet says.
The main house is 7,506 square feet of sophistication and has a resort-style pool and spa, along with a natural stone waterfall, the listing on Realtor.com says.
Other features of the seven-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom house include:
Double-height cathedral ceiling in the great room
Floor-to-ceiling fireplace
Chef’s kitchen
Wine cellar
Billiards room
Outdoor bar and kitchen
Apartment wing
Movie theater
“When the home was built, it was created to resemble a log home from the north American West,” listing agent Caroline Jaffee told Mansion Global. “However, the opulent and unique finishes and furnishings truly elevate the environment.”
Another unique feature in the home happens to a pub that’s imported from Ireland, the listing says.
While all the features of the main home are designed to attract, the real draw of the estate is, of course, the barns. The event barn comes with 23 horse stalls, seven fenced paddocks, three run-in stalls and a vast riding area, the listing says.
