A very unique home has swayed onto the real estate market in Houston, Texas, for $599,900 and it has a popular real estate social media page reeling.
The five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom house has very distinct vibe flowing through its entire 5,172-square-feet. From its grand, double staircase to its mirrored rooms to its hardwood floors, the entire home is something else entirely.
“Beautiful and spacious home!!!!” the listing on Realtor.com says. “Come check out this beauty with tall ceiling and loads of closets and built in. One of the largest homes in this beautiful neighborhood.”
According to the listing, the current owner also has put in a new boiler and is installing awnings near the balcony.
The house captured the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, as fans were both impressed by certain aspects of the interior and puzzled by other features. And yes, there were some jokes.
“Architect: What style would you like for the house?
First owner: No thanks!” someone joked.
“I just love mid-century mausoleum,” another said.
“This place would be a nightmare if you suffer from migraines,” one person pointed out. “But it’s definitely gorgeous.”
“It has a Sound of Music staircase!!” another observed. “Imagine the fun parties you could have there! Shoot, you could rent it out for wedding photos!”
“If this were my home, I’d set up my desk in the entryway with laptop facing the staircases and make a grand entrance to all my Zoom meetings,” someone said.
“It’s amazing and looks like a million dollar home,” one person noted.
“So many mirrors,” someone mentioned. “All I can think of is child fingerprints and doggy nose slobber. They’d never stay clean in my world.”
“If mayonnaise were a house,” another joked.
