Traffic delays are expected next week on this section of I-185 in the Columbus area
Driving on a section of Interstate 185 in the Columbus area could be a bit more congested next week.
One of the lanes on I-185 North between mile markers 32 and 46 will be closed May 23-26, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for spot milling and asphalt replacement, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.
The closure will affect traffic between Exit 30 at Hopewell Church Road and Exit 46 at Upper Big Springs Road in Harris County.
“Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through the area.,” GaDOT said in its news release. “Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
