Columbus election board adds Saturday early voting location in Senate runoff
There are three early voting locations in Columbus for the Dec. 6 runoff election between Republican challenger Herschel Walker and incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock.
One of those locations, the City Services Center, will offer early voting Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All three locations will be open from Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day:
- City Services Center, 3111 Citizens Way
- Columbus Technical College, 928 Manchester Expressway
- Shirley Winston Recreation Center, 5025 Steam Mill Road
Those over the age of 65 who requested an absentee ballot for the November election will automatically be sent another ballot for the runoff election.
Voters who didn’t request an absentee ballot but wish to do so must request to be mailed one by Nov. 28.
Voters who fail to request a ballot in time you can either vote in-person at one of the early voting locations or during Election Day on Dec. 6 at their assigned precinct.
To check your voting precinct you can use mvp.sos.ga.gov.
A ballot collection dropbox will be located in the foyer of the City Services Center during early voting hours until Dec. 2. After this time, the ballot must be mailed to the elections office in the City Services Center on the second floor.
