City trash collection delayed

If your garbage or recycling wasn't picked up as expected this week, you're not alone.

The Columbus Consolidated Government announced Tuesday that the increased volume of trash from Christmas has delayed the collection crews.

"Please leave your trash out to be picked up on Wednesday," the city's news release said. "Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
