Here are the candidates running to represent Muscogee, Harris and Chattahoochee Counties
The Ledger-Enquirer compiled a list of the dozens of candidates running to represent Muscogee, Harris and Chattahoochee counties in the June 9 election.
The election will serve as a primary election for partisan races and as a general election in non-partisan races.
Only races that have more than one candidate are included in this list. Voters can view all of the races that will be on their ballot by entering their information at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.

A few things to note:
- There are party questions on the Democratic and Republican party ballots. These are non-binding opinion questions.
- The District 4 council race will appear on District 4 ballots twice. The first race is for the 4-year term and has two candidates. This term will begin in January of 2021. The special election for District 4 is for the remainder of the term, June to December 2020. According to the Muscogee County Board of Elections, the winner of the special election will be sworn in when the election is certified and will serve until the winner of the regular election for District 4 is sworn in.
