The pandemic has brought enormous change to the Chattahoochee Valley in recent months. Families have grieved. Businesses have shuttered their doors and for some, reopened. Masks and hand sanitizer have permeated virtually every part of day-to-day life.

Our newsroom has been devoted to covering the coronavirus pandemic in the Chattahoochee since March. In fact, the Ledger-Enquirer has published 624 stories that mention the word “coronavirus” since then. We’ve adapted to provide this coverage and strive to constantly improve the news we deliver. What stories do you feel are missing from our coronavirus reporting right now?
In June, two new journalists joined the newsroom of the Ledger-Enquirer. Reporter Adrienne Underwood and photographer Madeleine are tasked specifically with covering the coronavirus pandemic and recovery in the Chattahoochee Valley.
