A Milledgeville Dairy Queen employee who said she mistakenly made a marijuana-themed birthday cake was fired by her employer, according to media reports.

Cassandra Walker was given separation papers after mishearing an ice cream cake order, she said in an interview with WMAZ-TV.

Kensli Davis’ mother ordered a cake themed after Disney icon Moana, but there was a mix-up. Walker heard marijuana.

“It was honest mistake,” she told WMAZ.

Davis thought the mix-up was funny and posted the cake on Facebook. Her post went viral.

Walker was fired on her birthday, USA Today reported.

A local Dairy Queen manager later called and offered her job back, but she declined because the company “took to wrong to do the right thing,” WMAZ reported.
