‘American Idol’ to host first-ever virtual auditions in Georgia. Here are the details
“American Idol,” the famous singing competition going into its 19th season, will host its first-ever virtual audition process in the area via Zoom next week, according to a release from ABC Entertainment.
The auditions will take place across the state of Georgia on Aug. 16 as a part of a nationwide search called “Idol Across America.” During the audition, individuals will get the chance to sing face-to-face (virtually) in front of “American Idol” producers, according to the release.
To audition for the show, individuals have to be between 15 and 28 years old, according to the American Idol website. They must also sign up online to reserve their time slot.
The audition day for Alabama residents is on Aug. 18, according to the website. There will also be an open call day on Aug. 25 where anyone, regardless of where they live, can sign up for an audition.
