Two Powerball players in Georgia netted big wins in the latest drawing.

There were two tickets worth $50,000 sold in the Peach State for the drawing Wednesday, March 27, according to Georgia Lottery officials. Both tickets matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win the hefty prizes.

The lucky tickets were purchased from:

  • Walmart Supercenter on Victory Drive in Columbus

  • The Georgia Lottery app by an Acworth resident

The winning Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday were 37, 46, 57, 60, 66 and red Powerball 8, according to the lottery game’s website. The Power Play was 2x.

The two players are the latest to score big wins in Georgia. Two Mega Millions players matched all five numbers and each won $1 million in the March 26 drawing, McClatchy News reported.

There were $1 million Powerball winners in Arizona, Texas and Pennsylvania, though no one matched all six numbers to win the $873 million jackpot, results show.

The new jackpot is an estimated $935 million, “making it the fifth-largest prize in the history of the game,” according to Powerball’s website. It also marks the first time this year that the top prize has surpassed $900 million.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, March 30.
