Here’s what Columbus can expect from Tropical Storm Nicole
Columbus could see some minor effects from Tropical Storm Nicole as the storm moves through Florida and targets Georgia and South Carolina.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says Columbus can expect up to two inches of rain from the storm.
Nicole started it’s path in the south Atlantic Ocean and will make its way from the Florida coast through southern Georgia later this week, according to current projections.
Columbus residents can expect the rain to begin Thursday night and continue through Friday night, according to the NWS.
Minor flooding is possible depending on multiple factors and will be monitored by the NWS.
