This weekend, it’s all about Mom, Mama, Mommy, Mother. Or whatever you call her.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 14, and while you’re picking out (or making) the perfect gift for her, we’ve done some of the other work for you.

Will she be celebrating in the rain or sun? We’ve got the weather forecast details.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, Mother’s Day 2023 will be full of “clearing skies” for the Southeast portion of the country, which includes states such as Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Pro tip: make sure Mom’s AC is working because this Sunday is going to be a scorcher.

Specifically, in Columbus, Georgia, the high will be around 93 degrees and lows around 69 degrees. The Weather Channel predicted a mix of clouds and sun, but there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm later in the afternoon.

Be sure to have an umbrella handy for Mom.

Happy Mother’s Day, Columbus.
