Raincoat or allergy pill? Here’s what to expect, Columbus, for Easter Sunday weather
March is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, so the weather is likely to be fairly unpredictable.
Easter brings all sorts of outdoor activities, so you probably need to know what to expect when you’re dying eggs, stuffing baskets, or making Sunday dinner. Whether you’re attending church services, having bottomless mimosas, or preparing a family meal, it’s handy to know what to expect from Mother Nature.
Here’s what you might expect from the weather on Easter Sunday in Columbus, Georgia.
Will it rain?
According to the Weather Channel, it’s unlikely we’ll see any showers, but there may be some clouds later in the day. There will be intervals of clouds and sunshine in the morning and early afternoon, but it is more likely it will be a little windy for most of the day. Wind gusts could get up to 14 mph.
What will the temperatures be?
Accuweather predicts a high of 80 degrees during the day, but once the sun starts to go down, temps will likely drop into the low 60s. There will be 78% cloud coverage, keeping the UV index in the moderate range.
What about all the pollen?
The pollen count is going to stay in the high range for Easter and the foreseeable future, according to Weather Channel’s Allergy Forecast. The culprit is going to be tree pollen, but don’t think the grass isn’t gonna get ya, either. It’s probably best to keep that Claritin handy all the way through the holiday weekend.
