Severe weather made its way across Georgia Tuesday, with the national weather service issuing alerts across the state.

Amid the severe weather, it’s important to make sure residents know what to do if they’re impacted by bad weather. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides information about different types of natural disasters and severe weather and how to respond.
