Enrollment Increases

Enrollment in Muscogee County schools reached 43,429 last Friday, to top attendance on the same day last year by 583 pupils. The increase was a reversal of a downward trend indicated in pre-school registration figures.

PC Stadium

Phenix City’s all-new Martin Stadium has taken shape now and construction workers are building concrete steps-one of the final stages. City officials still feel confident that Williams Construction Co. will meet its deadline of Sept. 29.

Nurse Training

The Medical Center Sunday held orientation for 42 students beginning a three-year course in professional nursing.
