A hand-grenade accident at Fort Benning today killed two soldiers and injured a third. Names of the dead were withheld pending notification of next of kin.

JFK Probe

The clamor for a new investigation into the assassination of John F. Kennedy seemed certain to increase today with the disclosure that one of the members of the Warren Commission disagreed with some of the panel’s findings. Sen. Richard B. Russell, D-Ga., became the first commission member to publicly disagree with the report and its findings Tuesday.

Speed “Snake”

The “snake” may bite motorists who speed in Columbus. Police Chief C. R. Adair today was given the green light to bring the speed-checking device into the city by the Columbus Board of Public Safety.
