Republican Howard (Bo) Callaway, saying that a prospective governor should not waste time, announced Saturday he would begin a series of conferences this week with the leaders of state government.
The Mental Health Committee of the Georgia Municipal Association will sponsor the Southeastern Benefit Premiere of “The Bible,” to be held Dec. 22, 8 p.m. at Loews Grand Theater in Atlanta. J. Steve Knight of Columbus, chairman of the committee, said “The Georgia Municipal Association is proud to sponsor such a worthwhile event.”
