The case of Marvin L. Segrest, accused of killing a civil rights worker in Tuskegee, is expected to go to the jury this afternoon or Friday morning, according to Lee County Circuit Clerk Ed Johnson.

The book “Sin Whisper,” which was ruled obscene by Muscogee Superior Court Judge J. Alvan Davis in 1965, may be the subject of a hearing before the U.S. Supreme Court.
