Muscogee County’s two senators took opposing stands today as the State Senate voted 30-20 to retain Eastern Standard Time in Georgia this spring when much of the nation switches to Daylight Saving Time.

U.S. Rep. Jack Brinkley said today he has found discrimination in Civil Service against hiring former mental patients and that he disagrees with this practice.
