The widow of President John F. Kennedy Sunday waved away help near Acapulco, and alone righted her overturned sailboat, pulling aboard her daughter Caroline and niece, tiny Tina Radziwill.

Education

Jacob Beil of Columbus is one of 26 students from Georgia and one of 1,259 in the U.S. to win a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for 1967-68.

Beil, a student at Mercer University, is the son of Mrs. Vera Beil.

Grass Fires

A spark-spewing train and children with matches made Muscogee County foresters battle two grass fires here Sunday.

Muscogee County Fire Department contained both fires after some 15 minutes.
