GEA to Integrate
Committees of the Georgia Education Association and the predominantly Negro Georgia Teachers and Education Association have agreed on a merger plan after nearly a year of secret meetings, The Associated Press learned today.
Draft
Congress was set today to extend the military draft until 1971, while guaranteeing college men four years of uninterrupted study. Benefitting most will be college undergraduates, who will be assured four years of uninterrupted education regardless of their grades or the prestige of their school-as long as they are able to stay in some kind of college.
