John Wayne’s chartered airplane was scheduled to arrive between 4:30 and 5 p.m. today at Municipal Airport, according to latest word from the Fort Benning Post Information Office.

Phenix City

Mayor Lee Lott told the Phenix City Lions Club Wednesday that the city does not have the revenue to provide the services which the city needs and deserves.

Art Tour

Eleven area students will study in Italy this summer with trips to Milan, Rome, Naples, Florence and Venice included on the agenda. The students from LaGrange, West Point, Hogansville and Troup High Schools will leave Atlanta June 30 with Mrs. Henry Neal, art instructor at Troup High, as chaperon.
