Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Phenix City Boys Club swimming pool will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, according to Norris Randall, president.

Phenix Debt

Phenix City Commission agreed Wednesday to pay $33,852.78 to Phenix National Bank on funds borrowed in 1965 to finance expansion at Cobb Memorial Hospital.

Safety Board

A hearing for four ex-policemen who are appealing their dismissals from the police department will be resumed before the Columbus Board of Public Safety at 2 p.m. Friday in the City Commission meeting room.
