A decision to build a $100 million nuclear power plant in Georgia will be announced Thursday by The Southern Co., the Associated Press learned today.

New officers of the Valley Chamber of Commerce were installed at the board meeting Tuesday at the Chamber office in Lanett. Jack Keith of West Point was named president to succeed Robert Uhl, also of West Point.
