Post Survey
A survey of housing available in the Columbus-Phenix City area to military families has been completed by Fort Benning officials who report that only one owner of rental units has refused to adopt a policy of nondiscrimination. The project was part of a nationwide survey ordered by Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara.
Foreign Students
Forty-three American Field Service (AFS) students from 23 countries will spend several days here before returning to their home countries. The students, expected to arrive around 4:30 p.m. today, will leave Opelika Friday for New York City where they will join other AFS students who have spent the past year in the U.S.
