Presidential Citation

The Fort Benning-trained 1st Cavalry Division has become the first unit of its size to win a Presidential Unit Citation for service in the Vietnam war. President Johnson will present the award to the lst Cav. and its attached elements at a White House ceremony Sept. 14.

Mill Explosion

A boiler explosion Sunday morning at the Muscogee Mills plant of Fieldcrest Mills Inc. injured four persons, with two of them requiring hospitalization.

Religion

The Rev. Edward Lee Willingham III, pastor of Columbia Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Ga., has been called as pastor by the congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Columbus. He will succeed Dr. Sidney A. Gates, who died last November.
