Search Continues
Officers reported no new leads in the search for Edward A. Seibold, accused slayer of three Auburn girls. His vehicle was found abandoned in Ocala, Fla., Saturday.
Baker Grad Tapped
A 1964 graduate of Baker High School has been appointed a cadet captain at the U.S. Military Academy and will serve as a company commander until December. Cadet Neil A. McLean, a son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Neil A. McLean Jr., of 144-D Arrowhead Road, Fort Benning, is responsible for the discipline, internal administration, supply, training, morale and general efficiency of his company of 105 cadets.
Murder Suspect
A man being held in Muscogee County jail on an assault with intent to commit murder charge has been charged with the kidnap and slaying of Mrs. Carol Pearson, a University of Florida student. Authorities say they also intend to charge Willie Samuel Rivers, 18, of Gainesville, Fla., a Negro, with rape of a student nurse kidnapped last March from a University of Florida parking lot.
