▪ Prefer Georgia Wallace to Sen. Lister Hill if the former governor should decide to give up his presidential ambitions and seek the Senate post.

▪ Oppose the proposal now in Congress to use public funds to pay the cost of presidential campaigns.

Help For Texas

Four helicopters were dispatched from Fort Benning Friday night for San Antonio, Tex., to provide assistance in the tornado and flood devastated areas of Texas, according to a Fort Benning Public Information Office spokesman.

Hornung to Speak

Paul Hornung-the one-time “Golden Boy” of football-has joined the imposing lineup for the Columbus Quarter Club’s 1967 season. Hornung, force to retire this season because of a serious neck injury that kept him on the sidelines most of last year, will be guest speaker when the Quarterback Club holds it regular Monday night meeting at the Ralston Hotel on Nov. 6.
