Damaging Storm

Residents today surveyed the damage left behind after a squall line slipped in out of the west and slapped Columbus and Phenix City with menacing winds and drenching rains Friday night. Among the worst of the damage was a $16,000 airplane smashed at Columbus Municipal Airport.

Szabo also said that Hanoi is virtually in ruins from U.S. bomb strikes, which lately have moved closer to the center of the city.
