Vandalism

The cost of vandalism — deliberate destruction of property — has more than tripled in the past six years in the Muscogee County School District.

It rose from $4,895 in 1961-62 to $15,457 in 1966-67

In October alone, cost of repairs to damaged property or replacements came to $3,868.

War Costs

The Vietnam war has now claimed nearly 3,000 U.S. planes and helicopters — mechanical victims of enemy guns, sabotage, accidents or wear and tear.

The dollar loss amounts to more than $3 billion.

Already the bombing in Vietnam exceeds all the American tonnage dropped in World War II.

Drink Sales

Police Chief Clyde Adair said today if any citizen or group of citizens has information about illegal sales of mixed drinks in Columbus they should turn that information over to the police department for investigation.
